"My work is more akin to a painter

in a studio than a photographer making snapshots. I choose

not to go out into the world and bring back what I’ve

seen, but to start with a concept, pre-visualizing and then

executing it. I see that which is often overlooked.

Highlighting what I see and how I see it, the finished work is

then presented larger than life, inviting the viewer to walk in

the landscape of my mind’s eye. Still life affords me

ultimate control to subtract the unnecessary. My images then

create an illusion of simplicity".-Barry Seidman

Art Synergy To Host of Art Week 2018 and Art Synergy’s Palm Beach Art Exhibit at Art Palm Beach 2018 

Celebrating its 21th year in 2018, APB is dedicated to contemporary, emerging, and modern masterworks of art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Over 85 international galleries will be exhibiting paintings, sculpture, as well as functional and innovative design.

Art Synergy’s Palm Beach Art Exhibit at ArtPalmBeach opens on January 18, 2018 and continues through January 22nd, 2016 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

  Art Palm Beach is internationally recognized as the premiere mid-winter contemporary art fair on Florida’s Gold Coat by both art critics and enthusiasts. The fair provides a unique opportunity to reach collectors from around the world.  Over 24% of the world’s wealthiest families reside in South Florida from January through April. SYNERGY will be presenting a selection of the best contemporary artists’ work to this international stage and offer representation, access to collectors, dealers, and gallerists.

Art Palm Beach Launches the 2017 Fair Schedule

The fair celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

"The boutique fair, comprising between 70 and 75 local and Latin American exhibitors, is the longest running art fair in Palm Beach County, and it boasts a diverse program of concurrent events."

“In celebration of the fair’s 20th anniversary we have commissioned a special curated exhibition, paintings, sculpture, photography, video, new technologies, performance art, and art installations, offering collectors exposure to today’s emerging art trends,”

Art Palm Beach founder Lee Ann Lester said in a statement.

As part of the county-wide Palm Beach Week, which runs through January 24th, the fair’s satellite events include art walks, performances, a fundraising gala, open studios, demonstrations, and museum exhibitions.

Other highlights include a discussion on the relationship between art and design with the honorary design chairperson of Art Palm Beach Campion Platt, a former honoree of Architectural Digest’s ‘AD100’ list, and the collector, curator and art historian Jane Hart. Additionally, ‘dialogues,’ a four day conference including 12 lectures and panel discussions, features leading experts and artists such as Perez Museum Miami’s chief curator Rene Morales.

Running concurrently, fair partner Art Synergy, a local art initiative representing nine art districts across Palm Beach county, is hosting 35 exhibition openings and evening events at galleries and local art and culture institutions. Amongst its exhibitions will be the 3rd annual Palm Beach Art Exhibition at Art Palm Beach, curated this year by Rolando Chang Barrero and featuring 23 artists.

The Box Gallery, under the leadership of Rolando Chang Barrero, announces that top curators have selected pieces for the Gallery’s “Art Florida 2017 Exhibition”.  The exhibit takes place during ArtPalm Beach in conjunction with Art Synergy’s ART WEEK, with a VIP Reception on Friday, January 20th.  The Exhibit is open now through January 28th.  The public is invited.  In addition, a New Arts Venue, “Unleashed Art Fair”, in the West Palm Beach Arts District, hosts a Public Reception on Saturday, January 21st.   The Rickie Report shares the details here.
